Envelhecer não é parar de viver!
Você já deve ter ouvido aquela frase que diz que “a vida começa aos 40”. Pessoalmente, acredito que a vida começa todos os dias quando acordamos. Simplesmente, porque a vida é tudo o que temos e tudo o que fazemos dela, todos os dias, independente da nossa idade.
O que acontece é que a partir dos 40 nos damos conta de que começamos, de fato, o processo de envelhecimento. E não temos como negar isso porque não adiantaria, uma vez que se trata de um processo totalmente fora do nosso controle.
Continuando nessa linha de pensamento, o que será que se deve dizer, então, quando chegamos aos 50 ou aos 60? Que a vida começa de novo?
Mas como assim? Ela já não tinha começado aos 40? Agora fiquei confusa… E será que ao chegarmos nos 70, 80 ou aos 90 vamos também “descobrir” que a vida começa a partir dali?
A verdade é que não existe uma “vida de verdade”. Só existe VIDA, que é o que está acontecendo agora, já, nesse exato momento, seja lá de que jeito for e qual a sua idade.
Sabe aquela outra frase que diz: “aceita que dói menos”? É bem por aí…
Então, que tal aceitar que, sim, envelhecemos e a partir daí descobrir um jeito novo de levar a vida? Até porque não lembro de haver lido uma frase que diga que envelhecer seja sinônimo de parar de viver.
Sendo assim, me atrevo a deixar aqui algumas sugestões de quem já viveu bem mais de 40….
- Pare de ficar se lamentando pelo que já fez e agora não consegue fazer mais. Ninguém merece ficar ouvindo isso o tempo todo!
- Crie agora a melhor vida possível pra você, dentro das suas possibilidades e limites. Enfim, uma vida do seu jeito!
- Seja generoso com as suas travessuras da infância e atrapalhações da juventude. Elas te representam e te trouxeram até aqui.
- E mais do que isso, seja generoso com as travessuras das pessoas que você ama, estejam elas nos 5, 10, 20, 40 ou 70 anos.

Se lhe é oferecida a oportunidade diária de um novo recomeço, que tal tentar falar mais coisas boas, reclamar menos, ser mais cuidadoso em seus julgamentos e escolhas, cultivar emoções e sentimentos positivos… E, quando se deparar com um problema (sim, porque eles existem), que você possa confiar na sua capacidade de superação, porque ela existe e está aí dentro de você.
